When:
Monfalcone Geografie 2026
In a world where technology, communications, and mobility have reduced distances and made the planet increasingly interconnected, it becomes essential to rediscover the value of places, identities, and cultural boundaries as tools for navigating the complexity of the present.
This reflection gave rise to Monfalcone Geografie, a cultural festival now in its eighth edition, which offers a glimpse of the world starting from Monfalcone, a city strategically located in the heart of Europe.
The festival is designed as a space for encounter and dialogue between local and global perspectives. Through books, meetings, and discussions with authors, the event engages cultural institutions, schools, libraries, and local associations, each year building a "map" of themes and ideas to interpret the present. This eagerly awaited event promotes listening, discussion, and sharing, placing culture at the center as an opportunity for connection and collective growth.
Five intense days of events and initiatives, from theater to public readings to meetings with leading authors from the Italian cultural scene, always in dialogue with the local community and geared towards listening, discussion, and discovery.
