When:
Manifesto To the Mechanics

Theatre performance, spatial installation and music and literature evenings in memory of Srečko Kosovel.
From 2 to 4 September, Srečko Kosovel will be commemorated with music and literature evenings, a theatre performance and a spatial installation.
"Open the windows, open the doors: the new man is coming." In the summer of 1925, Srečko Kosovel wrote To the Mechanics! (Mechanics and Drivers) – a manifesto, a protest, a letter. One hundred years later, it is brought back to life through a mechanical puppet and a three-day public space performance directed by Marko Čeh and powered by Andraž Jug, Gregor Prah and Anže Zevnik. The puppet (set design and animation by Leon Vidmar) will make its way through the city over three days, hosting each evening from 20 o’clock onwards a performance (Mechanics, Electricity, The New Man) along with music and literary evenings from the Twenty and Something project.
