Let's GO! Cosplay and fun

Gorizia is preparing to become the capital of fantasy and pop culture thanks to Let's GO! Cosplay & Fun, an event that has become a tradition in Gorizia's late summer, a must-see for fans of comics, cosplay , cartoons, board games, and video games. This year's edition will be no ordinary one: the event, organized by the Department of Youth Policies of the Municipality of Gorizia and the EGTC GO, also pays tribute to Nova Gorica and Gorizia as European Capital of Culture, with a GO! 2025 Special Edition that promises to live up to expectations.

Workshops with comic book legends, conferences, concerts, the unmissable cosplay parade, and the chance to delve into over forty years of video games. Let's GO! Cosplay & Fun – GO! 2025 Special Edition is intended to be a fun, cultural, and participatory event, in keeping with the spirit of GO! 2025. It's an opportunity to bring together diverse audiences through contemporary and inclusive languages, in a cross-border, multigenerational dimension. And this year, to celebrate the European Capital, the event spans five different locations, starting with the beating heart of the event, Piazza Vittoria, which will remain the hub of the festival, with gazebos dedicated to workshops, conferences, board games, and the highly anticipated cosplay competition. The recently renovated parking lot of the former Wholesale Market will host the market, ideal for shopping in perfect harmony with the event's mood, and a selection of arcade video games, for a triple somersault back into the gaming atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s. The exhibition hall of the Auditorium on Via Roma will host the "Tattoos" exhibition, while the Go Center on Corso Verdi, home of the EGTC GO, will host the retro games and Lego area, where visitors can admire the phantasmagorical constructions made from the famous bricks. The display cases in the Dora Bassi Room will display cartoons related to the "Sketching Carlo!" comics workshop, one of the activities of the municipal Punto Giovani service.

The complete program for the two days will be available soon.
