Il Segno E Il Pensiero: Carlo Michelstaedter Told in Comics

Don't miss the inauguration of "The Sign and the Thought: Michelstaedter Told in Comics" on Monday, September 8th at 5:30 p.m. in Via Garibaldi 7, Gorizia, in the Sala Dora Bassi windows.

An exhibition where various moments in the life of the famous philosopher and artist from Gorizia were represented by Nika Vicenzino and Ginevra Alipo Tamborra in the form of comics.
This exhibition is the result of the comics workshop “Sketching Carlo!” created by Punto Giovani between April and June 2025.
The enthusiasm of the young teacher Nika and the participants, as well as the final result, pushed the Administration to want to share the fruit of the workshop with the citizens not only by creating this public exhibition, but also by relaunching a new workshop:
"From Form to Character: Draw Carlo Michelstaedter with Your Style," hosted by Nika Vicenzino and Ginevra Alipo Tamborra on September 14th at 10:30 a.m. in Piazza Vittoria during the Let's Go! Cosplay & Fun - Go! 2025 Special Edition Festival.
In addition to providing valuable support in the historical descriptive part of the illustrated panels, created following the Punto Giovani workshop, a new exhibition has been created related to this, "Drawing an Artist", containing a selection of sketches, drawings and documents dedicated to him that bear witness in particular to the episodes highlighted in the comic strips, set up in the Isontina State Library from Monday 8th to Saturday 20th September with free admission at the following times:
Mon-Fri 7.45am - 6.45pm
Sat 7:45 - 13:15
