From 12 to 14 November 2025, the fantasy festival Hobbiton will take place at Gorizia Castle.
The events by the Eureka Cultural Association will take us eastward, echoing the journey in The Fellowship of the Ring. In addition to J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy world of the Lord of the Rings, we’ll celebrate Friuli’s great cultural traditions—a true crossroads of Central Europe. This is a chance to highlight and revive some of the region’s unique yet often overlooked gems. Join us for exhibitions, talks, and Tolkien-themed events!
