Health Festival
On the occasion of World Health Day, celebrated on Tuesday, 7 April, the 2026 Health Festival will officially open, running until 26 April across Nova Gorica, its surrounding area, and for the first time also in neighbouring Gorizia.
The central event will be the Health Fair, taking place on Wednesday, 8 April, from 10:00 to 14:00 at Bevkov Square in Nova Gorica, where organisations active in health promotion and community support will present their work.
The 2026 theme, “Together for Health, on the Side of Science”, will guide a diverse programme of activities focused on healthy lifestyles, physical activity and overall well-being.
The festival is organised by the Municipality of Nova Gorica, the Nova Gorica Youth Centre, the Nova Gorica Health Centre – Health Promotion Centre, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ), the ko-RAK.si Association, the Nova Gorica Sports Union and the Public Institute for Sport.
