GO! 8 February: Music programme

We invite you to an evening with saxophone and DJ!

After completing his studies at the jazz department of the Ljubljana Music and Ballet School, saxophonist Jani Šepetavec from Nova Gorica continued his studies at the Jazz Institut Kunstuniversität in Graz, Austria, where he trained in Professor Karlheinz Miklin's class and successfully obtained his master's degree. As a musician, he has participated in masterclasses with renowned mentors (Don Menza, Dave Liebman, Bob Mintzer, Jerry Bergonzi, Donny McCaslin, etc.), writes music for various projects, and composes his own pieces. As a multi-instrumentalist, he regularly collaborates with renowned Slovenian musicians.

Gašper Zidanič is a freelance sound designer and active DJ. From 2014 to 2024, he was a member of the technical ensemble of the Ljubljana City Theater, while currently he performs under the name DJG at public and private events and festivals in Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia. His style encompasses genres such as funk and RnB, as well as house and disco music. He is comfortable working in tandem with jazz musicians, often performing in a duo with a saxophonist.
