GO! 8 february: Guided tour through the urbanism and history of Nova Gorica

The tour in Slovenian takes place at 14.00, and in Italian at 11.00.

We invite you to take an urban-historical walk through the short but turbulent history of Nova Gorica, full of interesting stories, paradoxes, and ironies. Visitors will first learn about the original design of the city as a socialist showcase to the West, and then, step by step, discover further details – how this design changed again and again and why the city is the way it is today.

The walk will be led by Blaž Kosovel, who is collecting registrations at blaz.kosovel@gmail.com.

Walk duration: 90 minutes.

Starting point: in front of Xcenter (Delpinova ulica 20, Nova Gorica).
