GO! 2025 Through the Lens: Photography Exhibition

Obiettivo GO! 2025 recounts in images the year of the European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica – Gorizia 2025, an exceptionally intense period that saw the two cities host a succession of events capable of renewing their cultural and social energy.

The exhibition is an ideal continuation of the artist's previous show, Obiettivo Confine, symbolically opening on February 8, 2025, the date of the official inauguration of the Capital, marked by the meeting and embrace of the highest institutional officials of the Italian Republic and the Republic of Slovenia.

A few days earlier, the inauguration of the renovated Transalpina Square / Trg Evrope, the symbolic place and beating heart of the European Capital of Culture, had anticipated the start of the celebrations.

It is in this very space that GO! 2025 finds its beginning and its conclusion, with the official closing ceremony, also punctually documented by Bumbaca's lens.

Between these two moments, the story unfolds of a particularly rich year, punctuated by cultural, institutional, and popular events aimed at diverse audiences: from concerts in the streets to international conferences, from sporting events to European-wide meetings dedicated to industry professionals.

The mosaic is completed by neighborhood initiatives, moments of food and wine conviviality, and high-profile institutional events, including tributes to Heads of State.
