Festival of Original Slovenian Storybooks

With the Trieste poet and writer Marko Kravos and the illustrator Anka Kočevar, we will explore the world of the little mouse and the blackbird through the shoes in the storybook Miš in kos: ko si v čevljih, nisi bos.

What happens when an uglyfer comes along who stomps and tramples everything? Will the mouse and the blackbird find the courage to stand up to it? The talk with the authors will reveal how the storybook came to be, how one becomes a writer or an illustrator, and perhaps they even reveal if they're working on something new. There will also be time for signing your books at the end.

The event is organised with the cooperation of the Department for young readers. The events are a part of the programme of literature events co-financed by the Slovenian Book Agency. The event is organised in cooperation between Mladinska knjiga and the Department for Young Readers.
