Festival Jazz&Wine of Peace 2026

The renowned cross-border festival returns to the Collio region and its historic wineries for a four-day celebration of world-class jazz and fine wines. Bringing together castles, cellars, and theaters, the event highlights avant-garde music, intercultural exchange, and regional heritage.

Organized by Circolo Controtempo, the Jazz&Wine of Peace 2026 festival stands as one of the region's premier cultural events, seamlessly pairing international contemporary jazz with the winemaking traditions of the Italian and Slovenian Collio. The journey kicks off on Thursday, October 22, featuring the Esmeralda Sella Trio at Cantina Jermann (11:00 a.m.), Gal Golob Trio at Spessa Castle (3:00 p.m.), Laura Jurd's "Rites & Revelations" at Sala Bergamas (6:00 p.m.), and Isaiah Collier "Plays Coltrane" at the Cormòns Theatre (9:30 p.m.).

On Friday, October 23, the festival continues with harpist Julie Campiche at Rosazzo Abbey (11:00 a.m.), Raw Fish at Villa Russiz Foundation (3:00 p.m.), virtuosic duo Craig Taborn & Peter Evans at Villa Codelli (6:00 p.m.), and Goran Kajfeš Subtropic Arkestra in Cormòns (9:30 p.m.).

Saturday, October 24 brings L'Antidote to Azienda Livon (10:30 a.m.), Pasquale Mirra's "Jagged Rhythms" at Russiz Superiore (12:30 p.m.), Shake Stew at Kulturni dom Nova Gorica (3:00 p.m.), Carolina Bubbico "Vocalia" in Gradisca d'Isonzo (6:00 p.m.), and British producer/pianist Alfa Mist in Cormòns (9:30 p.m.).

The festival concludes on Sunday, October 25 with a solo accordion performance by Lea Gasser at Tenuta Villanova (11:00 a.m.), the Teis Semey Quintet "En Masse" at Vila Vipolže in Slovenia (3:00 p.m.), and the grand finale with corto.alto at the Gradis'ciutta estate (5:30 p.m.).
