Evening of Miracles: Bread Broken Between Two
As part of the 29th Storytelling Festival in Nova Gorica and the concert series Ubrane note 2026, the musical storytelling performance “Evening of Miracles: Bread Broken Between Two” will be presented, curated and dramaturgically developed by Tjaša Koprivec Vuga.
Performers: Tajda Lekše and Tjaša Koprivec Vuga (storytelling); Allja Petric (music and vocals).
Illustrations: Barbara Ogrič Markež.
Blending narrative, music and imagery, the performance draws on ancient myths, reinterpreting them as contemporary stories of loss, hope, fidelity and the enduring power of love, while reflecting on the nature of the miraculous.
Free admission.
The event is organized by the Morgan Cultural and Artistic Association in co-organization with Cankarjev dom and the MAKS Bookstore Café (ZRC SAZU), with the support of the Municipality of Nova Gorica and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, within the Ubrane note concert series.
