When:
City on the Border. Goriška in the 20th Century.
Permanent exhibition City on the Border by Dr Kaja Širok.
The EPIC Interpretation Center is opening the permanent exhibition City on the Border, created by Dr Kaja Širok. Through personal and collective stories of the local inhabitants, the exhibition sheds light on the past of the Goriška region and offers insight into everyday life in the border area of the 20th century. It goes beyond traditional national narratives and presents a human and sensitive perspective on the history that shaped the region before, during, and after both World Wars.
The final part of the exhibition encourages visitors to participate: they are invited to share their thoughts, objects, and memories, thus co-creating a living cultural memory of Goriška.
Join us for guided tours of the permanent exhibition City on the Border. Goriška in the 20th Century.
