CINEREGIO – Annual Meeting of Regional Film Funds in Nova Gorica and Gorizia
CineRegio, the European network that brings together the main regional film and audiovisual funds, will hold its annual meeting in Nova Gorica and Gorizia from 10 to 12 November 2025. The event is the result of collaboration between the Fondo Audiovisivo FVG and the GO Film Commission, in the framework of GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica - Gorizia.
A delegation of more than 30 major regional film funds from across Europe will welcome audiovisual professionals and producers from Slovenia and Friuli Venezia Giulia, representatives of local authorities, and leading tourism organizations, offering them a unique opportunity for networking and collaboration.
Cooperation between film funds, local communities, and tourism organizations brings tangible benefits for regional development. Film productions directly contribute to strengthening the local economy, creating new jobs, and promoting destinations in the long term as attractive tourist and cultural sites.
The event will highlight why and how connecting the audiovisual sector with the local environment reinforces economic stability and fosters comprehensive regional growth.
