BORDERLESS QUARTET (Slovenia, Italy)
The Borderless Quartet transcends the borders of Slovenian-Italian culture with an ensemble including two members from each country, focusing on transnational themes.

Aljaž Beguš (Slovenian clarinet virtuoso), Stefano Mesaglio (Italian violinist), Erica Piccotti (Italian cellist), Nejc Kamplet (Slovenian pianist)
Programme: Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992), Quartet for the End of Time Interesting fact: Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, composed during the Second World War, is a classical landmark in chamber music. The work includes an unusual ensemble (clarinet, violin, cello, piano) and is known for its cyclical narrative structure.

The project is funded by the European Union under the Small Project Fund GO! 2025 of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021-2027, managed by the EGTC GO.
