BETRIB – Festival of Industrial Culture: At the Crossroads

Between 17 and 19 October 2025, a mining culture festival will take place at Mestni trg in Idrija.

The BETRIB Festival celebrates Idrija’s industrial heritage, promotes a spirit of pioneering and exploration, strengthens bonds of solidarity and comradeship, and weaves together the past and the present. The 2025 jubilee edition explores the constant tension of life with industry—between the past and the future, underground and sky, technology and the humanities, the local and the global, light and darkness.
