Barcolana 58 – La Regata Più Grande Del Mondo
The Barcolana returns to Trieste for its 58th edition, transforming the gulf into the world capital of sailing. A unique event that combines a major competitive event with a community celebration by the sea.
The Gulf of Trieste will host the historic Barcolana 58 regatta on Sunday 11 October 2026 , with the starting gun firing promptly at 10:30 am .
Thousands of boats of all sizes will compete for the route between Miramare and Piazza Unità d'Italia in an unparalleled visual spectacle.
The final event of the regatta is crowned by a rich calendar of cultural, sporting and entertainment events on land from 2 to 11 October 2026 .
The participation of international crews and enthusiasts makes the city the hub of maritime culture and a celebration of sport.
