Afrodream
As part of the cross-border "Musiche dal Mondo 2026" festival, the Piccolo Cielo area at Basaglia Park in Gorizia will host a concert by the international band Afrodream, scheduled for Wednesday, July 29th at 9:00 PM. The event offers an energetic sonic fusion of traditional African rhythms, Western pop sensibilities, and jazz and funk nuances.
The Afrodream project, born from the union of musicians from Italy, Senegal, and Argentina, stands out in the contemporary music scene for its ability to weave a cultural and expressive dialogue of rare power.
The ensemble features on stage Abou Samb (vocals and percussion), Luca Vergano (electric guitar), Ariel Verosto (piano, flute and percussion), Gianluca Gallucci (bass), Alessandro Negri (drums), Gabriele Cappello (saxophone) and Giulia Napolitano (trombone).
The concert will offer a captivating musical journey, capable of enhancing the individual identities of the members through open Afrobeat structures and global pop melodies.
