Nova Gorica will host the final meeting of the European project New Towns | New Narratives from 15 to 17 October 2025.
Nova Gorica will host the final meeting of the European project New Towns | New Narratives, involving 16 cities created from scratch (ab initio), or established as planned towns in the 20th century. The three-day programme will include expert discussions and guided tours of the city. On Wednesday, 15 October, the event opens to the public with the launch of a publication gathering research and reflections on new towns, along with the outcomes of two years of collaboration. An outdoor panel exhibition will also be set up under the arcades of the Nova Gorica Town Hall, presenting the stories of all the participating cities.
