Discover SpiralOscillations a sound installation by Ida Hiršenfelder (beepblip), at the Xcenter GO!2025 Intermedia Gallery.
On display from July until early September, the installation invites visitors into an immersive multisensory listening chamber, continuing the artist's exploration of the sounds of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Working under the artistic name beepblip, Ida Hiršenfelder creates immersive psychogeographic soundscapes using analogelectronics, modular synthesizers, field recordings, and digital sound processing. Her practice explores bioacoustics, experimental music, and sound spatialization. She studied Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
The installation was developed in collaborationwith Igor Serša and Ana Sepe (Magnetic Resonance Laboratory, Jožef Stefan Institute) and Projwct Atol.
The exhibition is on display at the Xcenter Intermedia Gallery coproduced by Institute Nove Prakse Nova Gorica until early September.
