The Ljubka Trail project strengthens the role of culture in promoting sustainable tourism and contributes to the social inclusion and empowerment of specific groups by enhancing the literature of marginalized women writers. The innovativeness of the project is to integrate culture, slow tourism and technology by offering visitors an accessible cultural itinerary with specialized guides and licenses for transnfrontal tours. The project is divided into three phases: for the first phase it is planned to build the itinerary in the footsteps of women writers that will start from Gorizia/Nova Gorica to Tolmin. In the second phase, the itinerary will be promoted through cultural events to acquaint the public with the women writers, and the third phase involves organizing a meeting with the cultural itineraries of the Council of Europe.
