The The Fairy Tales, We Tell Them project proposes the production of an animated TV miniseries illustrating the fairy tales of the cross-border area by involving children in the collection of materials in order to find stories, fairy tales, legends, folklore that describe the characteristic places.
The goal is to create a series dedicated to folk stories of Europe, promoting collaboration between children, teachers and animation professionals from Italy and Slovenia (Gruppo Alcuni and Invida). The innovation lies in the active participation of children in the production of about 8 different cartoons. The series will be dubbed in Italian and Slovenian, with arrangements for promotion and broadcast on RTVSLO.
The project is financed by the European Union through the GO! 2025 Small Project Fund of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme, managed by the EGTC GO.
