GIARDINO VIATORI

Perched on a hilltop with a spectacular view of the city, the Viatori Garden, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, was born in the 1970s from a dream of Professor Luciano Viatori.
Here, he created a small Eden with splendid collections of flowers and plants, along with paths, steps, and bridges that allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the 2.5 hectares of garden. A pond was also created inside a crater excavated by a war relic.
After the death of its creator, the Viatori Garden was donated to the Ca.Ri.Go Foundation, which continues the project in keeping with the spirit for which it was created.
You can admire staggered blooms that occur from March to June and hundreds of rhododendrons and azaleas, lilacs, hydrangeas, spireas, viburnums, osmanthus, peonies, climbing roses, plum trees and flowering apple trees as well as a hundred deciduous magnolias while the pond is populated by splendid water lilies.
