Gori Agricola
Nestled in the rolling hills of Nimis, on the northern border of the famous winegrowing area DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, stands Gori Agricola, a winery founded in 2009 by a man whose dreams were strongly rooted in his homeland. Here, on an estate of 18 hectares of vineyards, innovation and tradition come together with a watchful eye on quality and respect for the environment.
Through careful research of the territory and its winemaking traditions, the vineyards were planted in 2009 and 2010, with the aim of best enhancing the peculiarities of the individual local vines. In 2019, Gori Agricola obtained the prestigious organic certification in reward of its commitment to sustainable practices.
The entire production process is characterized by extreme care—from the manual harvesting of the grapes to the careful selection on the sorting table, as far as vinification. The result is wines that faithfully reflect the characteristics of the terroir and the grapes, maximizing their authenticity and excellence.
But the cellars of Gori Agricola hold more than just wine. Located in the province of Udine, in the far north of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, the company is also known for its Vermutat, a red vermouth that represents the entrance of a new generation of extraordinary products from this winegrowing area. Thanks to a combination of tradition and modernity, Gori Agricola has become a point of reference for lovers of good wine and oenological innovation.
