In the idyllic Vipava Valley, at the foot of mounts Nanos and Kovk, the Camp Vrhpolje is found in the village Vrhpolje. It is an ideal place for discovering culinary treats, wine tastings and sports activities in the open. The camp, surrounded by vineyards, offers some 10 camping pitches and the opportunity to sleep on shared beds on a rustic hayrack. There is also a room for 2 with an extra bed, own bathroom and terrace. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, access to a washing machine and bike rental. The owners of the camp are winemakers, and visitors are kindly invited into their wine cellar.
The surroundings offer a variety of opportunities for hiking and cycling, two popular climbing sites in the Vipavska Bela and the Gradiška Tura, and a launch site for paragliders on Kovk from where you may soar over the valley. Nearby there is rich history and culture to explore, with Vipava, Zemono, Goče, Ajdovščina, and Vipavski Križ all within reach.
