CITTA' VECCHIA

Casa Vacanza Città Vecchia is a flat in an early 20th century floral Art Nouveau building in the historic centre of Trieste, ideal for visiting the city on foot, newly renovated and furnished. We are located in a quiet place despite being in the heart of the city: via Torino, the nightlife street, is just a few steps away, as are numerous literary and historical cafés, restaurants, museums, shops and cultural sites; the beautiful Rive and the sea are just a few minutes‘ walk away, and through the prestigious and characteristic pedestrian area of Cavana you can reach Piazza Unità d'Italia (5 minutes’ walk), and the picturesque Ponterosso Canal (10 minutes' walk). Through the San Michele garden, you can climb to the San Giusto hill, and visit the Cathedral of the same name and the Castle. The Maritime Station, departure point for numerous cruises, is only a few metres from the flat. All parts of the city are very well connected by public transport, as is the railway station, which can be reached in a few minutes. Also very close by are the Delfino Verde ferry connections that can take you, by sea, to the beaches of Sistiana, Barcola and Grignano (not far from the famous Miramare Castle), to the characteristic town of Muggia, and - during the summer season - to the town of Grado. In the summer season it is a 10-minute walk to the historic Austro-Hungarian bathing establishment ‘La Lanterna’ - unique in the world - which divides men and women into two dedicated beaches. The flat has a living area, kitchen, complete bathroom with window, two bedrooms, plus a sofa bed in the living room, for a maximum capacity of 6 persons. Internet service with wifi.
