Karst Tractor Rally
A traditional Karst event.
The Karst Tractor Rally is an event held in Dutovlje. It is organized by a group of young locals from Dutovlje and surrounding villages, who decided seven years ago to launch such a gathering. The group felt that in today’s fast-paced world, there is a lack of social connection among people from the Karst region. At the same time, the event serves as a great opportunity to promote the Karst.
The event has grown into the largest tractor rally in Slovenia, attracting enthusiastic tractor drivers from the Karst, Brkini, Goriška Brda, the Slovenian borderlands, and even as far as Dolenja Trebuša. There’s something for everyone: activities for families with children, fans of vintage and modern agricultural machinery, and both younger and older visitors.
Program:
10:00 – 12:00 Gathering of tractor drivers at the event venue near Dutovlje Primary School
12:00 Opening ceremony: welcome from the organizers, blessing of the tractors and drivers
13:00 Start of the panoramic ride
16:30 Return of the tractors to the event venue
From 16:30 onwards: Fun games for visitors
All-day activities at the venue:
Fair of new and used agricultural machinery, inflatable castle and various animations for children
After the games: Dancing with the band Lisjaki and night party with Ines Erbus and the band Vzrock
Evening concert ticket: €10
Panoramic ride registration fee for tractor drivers: €25 (includes a gift, lunch, and evening concert ticket)
Passenger registration fee: €20 (includes lunch and evening concert ticket)
Children under 12: Free entry
