Summer in Nova Gorica A wealth of evening festivities in Nova GoricaSummer brings to Nova Gorica and vicinity a series of vibrant events that will in different locations animate the summer evenings, daily till the end of August. Guests of the Summer in Nova Gorica will enjoy a variety of musical, theatre and dance performances, participating in literary events, lectures and open discussions. For the 13th consecutive year, the Silvan Furlan Platform also holds its must-see Silvan Furlan Summer Cinema.
The City Municipality of Nova Gorica this year acts as the program coordinator, involving local public institutions and various NGOs from the fields of culture and tourism.

"The Town on the Border" Exhibition
Located at the EPIC Interpretation Center (Kolodvorska pot 10, Nova Gorica). You can visit the permanent exhibition "The Town on the Border" by Dr. Kaja Širok. Through personal and collective stories of the residents, it illuminates the past of the Goriška region and offers a glimpse into daily life in the border area during the 20th century. The exhibition goes beyond established national narratives, offering a human, sensitive look at the history that shaped the region before, during, and after both World Wars.
