"Why not?"

"Why not?"

"Why Not?" is much more than a show: it's a dialogue, an authentic encounter between stage and audience. It stems from the desire to break down barriers, to lay bare emotions, thoughts, and contradictions.

By and with Diego Dalla Palma
Dramaturgy by Paolo Gioia and Diego Dalla Palma
Directed by Marco Iacomelli and Costanza Filaroni
Production of Show Bees and Backstage
In collaboration with STM

Diego Dalla Palma presents himself as a courageous traveling companion, leading the audience through the stages of a life lived intensely. The title prompts a reflection: why not let go, dare, live life to the fullest? Each chapter is an invitation to sharing, awareness, and freedom. The audience is never passive: they are protagonists, called to reflect, laugh, cry, and rediscover the profound meaning of existence.

“Why not?” seems like a question, but it’s an act of faith.
It's the precise moment when you no longer protect yourself. When you stop procrastinating and finally take action.
Some say it when they move cities, some when they kiss someone of the same sex, some when they throw away a job that's killing them. Some whisper it before a goodbye, a leap, a life-changing transformation.
Why not? It's the phrase that separates prudence from courage.

This show aims to be a lesson in love with an open heart and conscience, to demonstrate that every defeat can be a triumph... addressing current events, but also unconventional personal experiences, often provocative, at times raw and raw, but always sincere and viscerally felt.
