Note del Timavo – Tango da pensare

The 38th edition of “Note del Timavo – Tango da pensare” brings three concerts to Gorizia, dedicated to tango and jazz music, featuring Ensemble Lunfardo, pianist Rita Marcotulli, the FVG 2025 talents, and composer Pasquale Stafano.

As part of the 38th edition of “Note del Timavo – Tango da pensare”, three special events are scheduled in Gorizia:

3 January features “Confini sfumati tra timbri e figure” (Blurred Borders Between Timbres and Figures), a concert by Ensemble Lunfardo that blends traditional tango and tango nuevo, enriched by choreography from the Gato Negro company and visual projections from the Baires Tango exhibition.

10 January presents “Linee e confini – Autoritratto” (Lines and Borders – Self-Portrait), a solo performance by renowned Italian jazz pianist and composer Rita Marcotulli, offering a journey through her artistic experiences and distinguished international career.

17 January concludes the programme with a double concert: performances by the winners of Talento Contemporaneo FVG 2025, followed by “Roots” by pianist and composer Pasquale Stafano – a musical exploration of jazz, tango, and original compositions inspired by influences ranging from Piazzolla to Bill Evans.
