Daphne Song
As per tradition, each edition of the “Rodolfo Lipizer Prize” International Violin Competition is followed by a concert performance by one of the laureates.
This year Sora Sato-Mound will perform virtuosic pieces for solo violin as well as compositions for violin and piano (accompanied by Mizuho Furukubo), including “Daphne Song,” composed by Maestro Mario Garuti specifically for the 44th Lipizer Competition and which gives its name to the concert.
