Stories for Passengers: “Tracks: Stories on the Move”

Stories for Passengers: “Tracks: Stories on the Move”

Discover Tracks – Stories for Passengers in Gorizia on 24 October: an Italian-Slovenian digital project that reimagines travel as an immersive narrative experience.

The cross-border digital project Tracks – Stories for Passengers, created by Puntozero (Italy) and PiNA (Slovenia), arrives in Udine and Gorizia with two new events.

On 24 October in Gorizia, the presentation “Tracks: Stories on the Move” invites the public to discover how the Tracks app was created and how its stories accompany travellers during their daily journeys. Guests include curator Carlo Zoratti, writer Jacopo Bottani, and filmmaker Stefano Giacomuzzi, followed by a live listening experience on bus line 8, where participants can hear “La scopa” via their smartphones. The event, including refreshments and bus tickets, is free.

The Tracks app, available for iOS and Android, offers original audio stories in Italian, Slovenian, and English, voiced by performers from both countries. Each story is linked to a specific bus or train route across Friuli Venezia Giulia and Primorska, such as Udine-Gorizia, Trieste-Ljubljana, and routes around Nova Gorica and the FVG airport.

Written by Italian and Slovenian authors, the stories draw on local history, culture, and daily life, transforming travel into an imaginative, site-specific experience that connects narrative and place.
