Forty-four: that’s how many editions of the Silent Film Festival have taken place. The festival returns to Teatro Verdi from 4 to 11 October 2025, featuring special events, retrospectives, Collegium seminars, book and DVD presentations, conferences, and talks. Curated by festival director Jay Weissberg, the programme focuses on rediscoveries and original juxtapositions of themes, works, and genres, with frequent references to contemporary culture.
