"You Are Here": Side Events
As part of the side events calendar for the exhibition "Voi siete qui" ("You Are Here"), four presentations and guided tours explore manuscripts, history, cuisine, and mathematics.
As part of the "You Are Here" exhibition, four side events are scheduled for August:
- August 7, 6:00 PM: Arianna Grossi presents Virgil’s Georgics from a recently rediscovered Friulian manuscript translated by Giuseppe Bosizio, followed by a guided tour.
- August 15, 8:00 PM: Guided tour of the "You Are Here" exhibition.
- August 21, 6:00 PM: Rudj Gorian explores the life and work of Gian Giuseppe Barzellini, an 18th-century self-taught mathematician of international renown, followed by a guided tour.
- August 28, 6:00 PM: Roberto Zottar shares stories and recipes from Gorizia’s culinary heritage, based on his book Gustà Gorizan, followed by a guided tour.
