Lunatico Festival 2026 - Gorizia

The 12th edition of the Lunatico Festival, scheduled for July 24th to August 8th 2026, opens in Gorizia with the "Lunatico Festival GO 26 - Frontiere dei Lunatici," which renews its theme with "living outside." Three days dedicated to culture, sport, and, of course, music, will feature multidisciplinary events, under the banner of social inclusion, cultural regeneration, genre crossover, and transgenerationalism, with a focus on nurturing emerging talent.

Friday, July 24
10:30 am - Pale Concord - Collaborative Storytelling (workshop, hosted by Radio Fragola)
4:00 PM - Colpi di Picchio - The magazine that chronicled the transformation of psychiatry (presentation)
5:00 PM - Other Realities, Other Perspectives - Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Perceptions of the World (lecture and debate)
5:00 PM - Basaglia Itineraries (interactive guided tours of Basaglia Park)
6:00 p.m. - Panel Bombing II: The Art of Graffiti (workshop)
6:30 PM - Not the End: Star Wars - Ashes of the Sith, Echoes of the Jedi (role-playing session)
8:30 p.m. - Openwave Music Contest - live selections

Saturday, July 25th
5:00 PM - Basaglia Itineraries (interactive guided tours of Basaglia Park)
5:00 p.m. - The Night of the Griot (workshop by Jali Babou Saho)
6:30 p.m. - Silence, Lennox Speaks (theatrical performance)
9.00 pm - DJ Sistah Vibes (DJ set)
10.00 pm - Sir Oliver Skardy (from Pitura Freska) (live concert)

Sunday, July 26
4:00 PM - Kubb and Mölkky - Viking throwing games (workshop)
5:00 p.m. - Lunatico Basket - 3-on-3 basketball tournament for youth and seniors (sports)
5:00 PM - A Day of Ordinary Fantasy - Convention on Games and Fantasy
8:00 p.m. - Lunatico Basket Awards Ceremony
8.30pm - Jali Babou Saho (live concert)
9:30 p.m. - Antica Ludoteca Ritmica (DJ set)

The Lunatics' Frontiers section features Circolo Controtempo, Romero Inc., Arci Gong, Dinamo Gorizia, and in collaboration with ASUGI. Other contributors include: Mine Vaganti Pallacanestro Gorizia ASD, Polisportiva 2001 ASD, Ama Linea di Sconfine ODV, CSM di Gorizia, FantaTrieste, Birrificio Antica Contea, and the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia Foundation.
