45° Premio Sergio Amidei
The 44th edition of the “Sergio Amidei” Award returns to Gorizia from July 17th to 23rd.
It is organized by the “Sergio Amidei” cultural association in partnership with DAMS – Audiovisual, Media and Entertainment Disciplines, an inter-university course at the University of Udine and Trieste, and the Palazzo del Cinema- Hiša Filma Association.
Seven days to celebrate film writing as a creative, political, and cultural act.
Screenings, meetings with authors, screenwriters and directors, masterclasses and open dialogues on the present and future of the stories that inhabit the screen.
Founded in 1981 and named after Sergio Amidei, one of the fathers of Italian neorealism, the Prize is today one of the most prestigious awards in Europe dedicated to screenwriting: the beating heart of cinema and a space for collective debate.
