Road cycling ride on the epic loop across the Vršič and Predel mountain passes

An epic road cycling route through the Julian Alps, crossing two countries and two legendary mountain passes, which in 2026 will also be part of the Tour of Slovenia route for both recreational and professional cyclists. The area where Italy, Slovenia and Austria meet is one of the most spectacular cycling regions in Europe. Lakes, Alpine rivers, mountain passes such as Vršič with its First World War hairpin bends, high-quality roads and the dramatic landscapes of the Julian Alps and the Soča Valley – all combined in a single loop. The Giro d’Italia has already followed some of these roads, while the Vršič Pass has even been proposed as a Tour de France stage finish in the coming years. Experience an epic 90 km ride in colourful cycling company at the premiere edition of the cross-border Mad Alps cycling event.
