Hike to Bovški Gamsovec, 2,329 m | Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival

An exciting tour to the highlands, where ibex reign supreme, with magnificent views of Triglav and the surrounding mountains.

We will set off in the Zadnjica Valley, climb to the Luknja Pass and then to the top of Bovški Gamsovec. From the pass to the top, we will be accompanied by a magnificent view of Triglav and the wild, rocky world. We will descend to the other side, to Kriške pode, and finish the circular tour in Zadnjica. The tour is mentally and physically demanding, suitable for experienced hikers. There will be a lot of walking, so good fitness is important.

MEETING PLACE: Zadnjica parking lot at 7:00 AM

DURATION: 10 hours

DIFFICULTY: challenging

EQUIPMENT: hiking shoes with good grip, hiking poles, helmet, food from your backpack PRICE: free guide, drinks in the hut and parking in Zadnjica at your own expense Registration The number of places is limited! Registration is required by Thursday, 17. 9. 2026, at 031 890 079
