Hike to Bovški Gamsovec, 2,329 m | Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival

A varied high-mountain tour through the realm of ibex, with magnificent views of Triglav and the surrounding peaks. We will start in the Zadnjica Valley, ascend to the Luknja Pass and then continue to the summit of Bovški Gamsovec. From the pass to the summit, we will be accompanied by magnificent views of Triglav and the wild, rocky mountain landscape. We will descend on the other side towards Kriški podi and complete the circular tour in Zadnjica. The tour is mentally and physically demanding and is suitable for experienced hikers. The route involves many hours of walking, so good physical fitness is essential. MEETING POINT: Zadnjica car park at 7:00 a.m. DURATION: 10 hours DIFFICULTY: demanding EQUIPMENT: Hiking boots with good grip, hiking poles, helmet, food from your backpack PRICE: The guided tour is free of charge; drinks at the mountain hut and the parking fee in Zadnjica are at your own expense.
