Hike along the Zadlaščica River | Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival

From Tolmin, we will set out on an excursion into the valley of the Zadlaščica River, which rises below the village of Tolminske Ravne. The route leads through the village of Zadlaz-Čadrg, offering views of the surrounding mountains, and continues along a mountain trail through the forest to the hamlet of Perbla, where a primary school once stood. From there, we will turn into a steep ravine to visit Tehnika Krn, a well-preserved Partisan cyclostyle printing workshop. We will then return from the ravine to the Zadlaščica trail and continue past the Zadlaščica hydroelectric power plant along the right bank of the river back to the starting route. Before returning to Tolmin, we will stop at Letni vrt pri Jakču in the village of Zadlaz-Čadrg, where a tasty treat awaits us. MEETING POINT: Free P2 car park, Tolmin, at 8:00 a.m. DURATION: 8 hours DIFFICULTY: moderately demanding EQUIPMENT: Good hiking boots, hiking poles, sufficient water and a small snack from your backpack PRICE: free of charge REGISTRATION: The number of places is limited.
