Hike along the Rapallo Border (Podbrdo – Robarjev grič – Podbrdo) | Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival

A guided hike along the traces of the Rapallo border from Podbrdo to Robarjevo and Zalodnikarjevo hills and back to Podbrdo.

From the TIC Podbrdo at 9:30 we will set off along the scenic path towards Milpoh, and from there we will continue along a pleasant forest road to Robarjev grič. In front of the former Italian barracks, at a beautiful viewpoint, there will be time for a rest, a snack and a chat. During the journey, a local tourist guide will introduce participants to life in these places in the past and today, and reveal what kind of future the inhabitants of Baška grapa want.

We will continue our journey to Zalodnikarjev grič, where we will see the largest preserved underground bunker from the time of the Rapallo Border.

Then we will descend to Petrovo Brdo and return to the starting point in Podbrdo along the old road. The path is not demanding and is suitable for participants of different ages. After the hike, lunch will follow at the Podbrdo Tourist Information Center.
