Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival

Opening of the Hiking & Cycling Festival in the Soča Valley: travel talk on the Pacific Crest Trail with Urban Gregorc and concert by Rudi Bučar.

You are warmly invited to the opening event of this year’s Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival. The first evening will feature a travel lecture by Urban Gregorc entitled The Pacific Crest Trail. The event will take place on Friday, September 19, at 6 p.m. in the Stergulčeva hiša in Bovec. Through words and photographs, Urban will present one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in the world – the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Stretching for more than 4,200 kilometers, the trail led him from the Mexican border, across the diverse landscapes of the American West, all the way to Canada. At 8 p.m., the evening will continue with an intimate concert by Rudi Bučar. Let the opening evening of the festival be an invitation to new experiences on your own paths as well.
