Alessandro Barbero: The Battle of Kobarid 1917

Renowned Italian historian Alessandro Barbero will present the story of the Battle of Kobarid (Caporetto) of 1917, one of the most dramatic historical events deeply rooted in collective memory.

The lecture will be introduced by Janko Petrovec, long-time RTV Slovenia correspondent from Rome and current editor-in-chief of Radio Koper.

Due to exceptional interest, the venue will extend to Freedom Square in Kobarid, where the event will be broadcast live on a big screen for everyone without a reserved seat under the main tent.
