Our Path: Talk with Petra Majdič

Slovenian cross-country skier Petra Majdič shares her journey of goals, passion, and performance toward sporting excellence.

You are warmly invited on Friday, October 3, at 6:00 p.m. to the Ciril Kosmač Library in Tolmin for Petra Majdič’s lecture: Our Path. In her lecture, Petra describes the journey to her goal – what it means to BECOME THE BEST IN THE WORLD through the eyes of a top athlete. Becoming the best requires a different perspective on the present situation and a long-term vision of where we truly want to go. The journey was interwoven with tough experiences, tears, but also very humorous moments. The lecture touches on situations familiar to many, which take us out of our comfort zone: Friendship versus Uncertainty. A dream that gives birth to a vision versus the Unknown environment. Passion versus pressure. And there is always a solution. A Path! How to set your goals? Which innovative approaches to use? How to strengthen commitment and follow common goals?
