Bicycle tour in the Resia Valley as part of the Soča Valley Hiking & Cycling Festival: explore nature, villages, and local cultural heritage.

A cycling tour to discover the nature and villages of the Resia Valley, lying in the shadow of Mount Kanin within the Julian Pre-Alps Nature Park. The route starts on the Alpe Adria cycle path in Na Bili/Resiutta. It partly follows the Resia stream in Ta-na Jïjlo/Povici. Along the way you can stop at scenic viewpoints, explore elements of local cultural heritage, and be surprised by the remarkable biodiversity of the area. After reaching Tigo and a short stretch of low-traffic road, the route climbs towards the villages of Bila/San Giorgio and Ravanca/Prato, where the Visitor Centre of the Julian Pre-Alps Park is located, which will be open free of charge as part of this tour. Return follows the same path. MEETING POINT: Na Bili/Resiutta, in front of the church, at 9:00 AM DURATION: 6 hours DIFFICULTY: Moderate  EQUIPMENT: Weather-appropriate clothing. Standard cycling gear and own bike required. Bike rental is not available.
