13th Hike on the "On My Own Land" Trail

Explore the Baška grapa Valley on a cultural trail through cinema, history, and nature, as part of the Soča Valley Hiking & Biking Festival.

The trail connects the heritage of the first Slovenian full-length sound feature film, permanently inscribed into the landscape of the Baška grapa valley with thematic boards placed at locations where the most important scenes were filmed in 1948. Each year, the content of the hike is enriched with a current theme, allowing hikers to also discover the cultural and technical heritage of the area. Meeting Point: Grahovo ob Bači, Community Center (Grahovo ob Bači 48) Start: 10:00 (gathering from 9:00 onward) DURATION OF THE HIKE: 5 hours (with stops, hike enriched with cultural program), 12 km DIFFICULTY: Easy EQUIPMENT: Hiking shoes, poles PRICE: €15 per person (includes guided tour, cultural program, souvenir, snack at the end of the hike) €8 for members of KTT DBD Program: 9:00–10:00: Registration of hikers 10:00: Brief presentation of TpNSZ and opening greetings (short film clips, viewing of the thematic room, etc.) 10:20: Start of the hike from boards 1 to 6, including a cultural program 15:00: End of the hike, refreshments, and social gathering Guest: From the world of acting and film Hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views offered by the diverse terrain between Grahovo ob Bači and Koritnica.
