SOUNDS OF PEACE Travelling Cellos Andrejka Možina – compositions, vocals, cello Ema Krečič Rode – cello Clara Di Giusto – cello The Travelling Cellos ensemble presents an original blend of singer-songwriter, jazz and folk music, reimagined in a chamber music setting. By exploring the diverse sonic and technical possibilities of the cello, combined with Andrejka Možina’s voice, the trio creates a distinctive and refined sound. The concert will feature music from the bilingual project Besede ne ubogajo več / Parole indomite, dedicated to Slovenian women’s poetry in Italy.  Music and poetry intertwine in Slovenian and Italian, creating a space for the meeting of cultures, languages and roots.  The concert will take place at the Monument of Peace in Cerje, on a panoramic hilltop on the Karst plateau, offering views of the Vipava Valley, the Adriatic Sea, the Friulian plain and the Julian Alps. Before the concert, at 6:00 PM, a free guided tour of the Peace Monument in Cerje will take place. Admission to the concert and guided tour is free of charge. The event will take place in Slovenian and Italian and is part of the BeWoP project, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A ITA-SLO 2021–2027 programme.
