Prebeneg Open Air Cinema

The traveling Kino Soča-Isonzo Cinema does not stop when August comes to an end. After successful film evenings under the stars at various locations, we are also moving to the Trieste area, where we will join forces for the second time with the Jože Rapotec Cultural Association to organize the Prebeneg Summer Cinema. The event is part of the official program of the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025. The event will take place on August 28, 2025, at 8:30 PM in the picturesque Prebeneg park. This magical evening will be brought to life by the film Praslovan by Slobodan Maksimović. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.

The traveling Kino Soča - Isonzo Cinema, which has been running since 2024, has been setting up annual cinemas in picturesque locations along the border, in cooperation with key partners from the region. The event is part of the Go Green Cinema project, which addresses the wider cross-border public, local residents, random foreign visitors and participants within the official program of the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025.
