Voices for Peace
Dance, music and performances will give voice to diversity as a force for dialogue and peace.
UWC Adriatic celebrates Peace One Day, the International Day of Peace on 21 September, with a major event open to the wider community.
The protagonists are the College’s 190 students, coming from 80 different countries and completing the final two years of high school in Duino.
This year, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Gorizia, the celebration will take place in Piazza Transalpina and will feature a vibrant programme of dance, music and performances.
The performances, some of which are inspired by the students’ countries of origin, will transform the square into an engaging multicultural stage, showing how diversity can be a powerful tool for dialogue and peace.
