For over twenty years, the Quartetto K has been interpreting and reworking the musical repertoire of Central Europe and the Balkans in its own distinctive style, rediscovering little-known pieces and presenting original arrangements of Hungarian, Romanian, Russian and klezmer traditions. The programme offers a journey through different cultures, from the folk dances and melodies of Eastern Europe to the famous works of Brahms and Shostakovich, in a continuous dialogue between classical music and tradition.Accessibility
