How have the ways of narrating journeys, destinations, and territories evolved? From photographic diaries and travel blogs to the Big Data paradigm, technologies have transformed our way of observing and analyzing tourism. The seminar retraces the historical experiences of Turisti per Caso, explores new forms of analysis based on mobile phone data and economic transactions, and presents the first research results on the impacts of the European Capital of Culture GO!2025 in Gorizia.Language info
